  • Review report

  • Negatives:  not much of a game

  • Positives:   short and sweet

Gameplay

  • Notes are left by an unseen person beyond the door to disobey

  • Whenever looking through the peephole, the room you are in changes

  • Involves performing small tasks in order to progress, not sure if there are any choices available

Sounds

  • Loud knocking and buzzer on door to the outside

Art

  • Stylized to a certain extent, reminds me of Dishonored

UI

  • No options in main menu

  • There is a notice for streamers to stop the stream after the ‘water step’, i would’ve recommended a special option/ending specifically for streamers

Writing

  • Story didn’t come together for me in my time playing

Scare Factor

  • Door knocking gets louder and more persistent as the game goes on

  • Gets surrealist and uncomfortable, at the end you hang yourself

Extra

  • Made with UE4

  • Plugged all their upcoming game in the credits

  • There are multiple achievements that would suggest there are choices to make somewhere, but it’s not obvious how

  • There is only one button for interacting as far as I can tell

Overall

  • A lot was done with an extremely small amount of space which I’m always a fan of

  • There wasn’t a lot here that would qualify as really scary
